How it works

  1. 1

    Connect once

Run the command for your agent above. The server needs no key or account, and every design and component in the library is available immediately.
  2. 2

Ask for a site like one you admire

Name a product or describe the feel. The agent calls design_brief and gets back the stored prompts for the closest designs, each with its screenshot attached.
    • “Design a landing page like Linear for a dental clinic”
    • “Build a pricing page inspired by the darkest developer-tool designs on Kage”
    • “Make an onboarding flow in the style of Notion, but for a fitness app”
  3. 3

    Get something original

The prompts describe layout, typography, spacing and colour, never the brand or copy. The agent builds with the same structure and rhythm, and can zoom into any single section with get_component.

Tools

design_brief Builds a design brief for a request like "design a site like Linear for a dental clinic".
search_designs Searches the Kage library of real product screenshots.
get_design Fetches one design by slug: its ready-to-paste prompt, taxonomy, every extracted component with its own prompt, and the screenshot itself as an image so you can see the layout you are drawing inspiration from.
get_component Fetches one extracted component (a hero, pricing table, footer and so on) by slug, with its prompt and the cropped image.
list_taxonomy Lists the fixed vocabulary the Kage library is organised by: page types, visual styles, industries, colours, tech stacks and component kinds.
design_like prompt Design a site or screen in the spirit of products in the Kage library.
