Kage is a free reference library. Using it means you accept these terms. They are short because the site is simple: look at designs, copy prompts, build your own things.
What Kage is
Kage (kage.design) collects screenshots of publicly available websites, analyses them and produces descriptive prompts for AI coding tools, along with curated lists of agent skills and tooling. It is operated by Chris Gregori as a personal project, free of charge, with no accounts and no paid tier.
Provided as is
Kage is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, availability or non-infringement. Screenshots may be out of date, analyses are generated by AI models and may be wrong, prompts may not produce what you expect, star counts and offers on the resources pages may be stale. The site may change, break or go away at any time without notice.
No liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Kage is not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or anything you obtain from it. That includes direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special and exemplary damages, loss of profit, loss of data and business interruption, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use Kage, which is nothing.
You are responsible for anything you build with a prompt or resource from Kage, including making sure it does not infringe anyone's rights.
Other people's work
The screenshots, logos, product names and trademarks shown on Kage belong to their respective owners. They are displayed for the purposes of commentary, criticism, education and design inspiration only. Kage claims no ownership of them and no affiliation with or endorsement by the products shown. Prompts describe a design's approach so you can build something in a similar spirit; they are not a licence to copy a product's branding, copy, artwork or proprietary content, and you must not use Kage to reproduce someone else's site.
If you own a site shown on Kage and want it removed, email [email protected] and it will be taken down promptly.
Prompts and analyses
The prompts and design analyses Kage generates are provided free for you to use, adapt and build from, commercially or otherwise, with no attribution required. Kage makes no claim of copyright over them and gives no guarantee about them.
Submitting a site
When you submit a website address, you confirm it is publicly accessible and that you have no objection to it being captured, analysed and shown here. Submissions are reviewed before they appear and may be declined for any reason. Submitting a site does not create any obligation on Kage to list it or keep it listed.
Acceptable use
Do not submit addresses that point to private networks, that you do not have the right to share, or that contain unlawful material. Do not scrape, mirror or bulk download the library, overload the service, or attempt to access the admin area. Kage may block access from anyone who does.
Third-party links and resources
The library links out to other sites, and the skills and tooling pages list third-party projects, some with offers or discount codes provided by those projects. Kage does not control them, does not endorse them and is not responsible for their content, availability, pricing or conduct. Any offer is between you and that provider.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use Kage after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
