Build a centered status-state strip for an AI assistant. Place a short heading and one-line explanation above a row of five compact pill controls representing stages such as listening, planning, acting, waiting, and complete. Give each state a distinct small colored dot or activity glyph, with charcoal pill backgrounds (#151518), subtle borders, and muted explanatory labels beneath. Use even spacing and allow horizontal scrolling on small screens. Include accessible state labels and a visible selected/current state. Never: use the reference's logo, product name, copy, illustrations, imagery, or exact visual identity.
