## Before you start
Ask what the user's product is, who it serves, and what its brand voice and visual identity are. Then apply the following principles to that product rather than reproducing this reference.

Build a dark, full-width footer beginning with a centered max-width sitemap. Place the brand area at left and four or five grouped link columns to the right, with bold category labels and compact link lists. Include a horizontal divider, then a legal/disclosure region with small but still readable text, numbered notes where appropriate, linked references, and a final copyright line. Use a near-black navy background around #17152b, white and muted lavender text, 1px translucent separators, and 32–48px desktop padding. Preserve adequate line-height and contrast for legal copy, and collapse link groups into accessible accordions on mobile. Keep the footer visually distinct from the content above while maintaining the same typography family.

Never: copy the reference's logos, product names, copy, illustrations, imagery, legal text, links, or exact disclosures.
