## Before you start
Ask what the user's product and brand are, then apply the following principles to that context.

Build a slim announcement banner above the main navigation. Use a vivid brand-accent background, centered monospace or compact sans-serif announcement text, a small dark contrasting action button, and a dismiss icon aligned to the far right. Keep the bar around 40px tall, with restrained horizontal padding and strong contrast. Use approximate colours: accent yellow `#ffe81f`, near-black button `#0a0b0d`, white text `#f5f5f0`. Keep the button rectangular with a subtle 1px border and minimal radius. Make the dismiss control keyboard accessible and allow the banner to be closed without shifting the navigation awkwardly.

Never: use logos, product names, copy, illustrations or imagery from the reference.
