Mailwell footer component

Design analysis

A short personal note closes the narrative before a compact footer row. The footer keeps legal and utility links small, aligned, and visually quiet.

## Before you start
Ask whether the user's product should end with a founder note, company statement, or simple closing message, and which utility links are required. Apply the pattern to that context.

Create a closing region with a narrow centered note above a thin divider or generous separation. Use 14–16px muted text, a short personal or company sign-off, and optional handwritten-style emphasis only if it matches the user's brand. Below it, make a full-width footer row inside a max-width container: a small copyright or ownership line on the left and compact links on the right. Use 12–13px text in #666, an off-white background, 20–28px horizontal padding, and subtle hover darkening. On mobile, stack the two sides with a small gap and preserve comfortable tap targets.

Never use logos, product names, copy, illustrations, or imagery from the reference.
