## Before you start
Ask what the user's product and brand are, then apply the following principles to that context.

Build a dark multi-column footer separated from the CTA by a thin border. Use a responsive max-width container with a left column for a compact brand mark, ownership or copyright line, and small social links, alongside 2–3 columns of grouped navigation links. Group headings should be uppercase, tiny, and letter-spaced; links should be compact muted text with brighter hover states. Use background `#080a0c`, border `#1b1e22`, heading text `#777c82`, link text `#a1a4a8`, and primary legal text `#d5d7d2`. Keep the footer dense but not cramped, with 28–40px vertical padding. On mobile, stack the brand block and link groups while maintaining clear grouping.

Never: use logos, product names, copy, illustrations or imagery from the reference.
